Polices, Terms & Conditions
Please read this information carefully as it contains important details about our policy that may apply to you.
At HONG KONG BRAID Studio, customer satisfaction is our first priority. We believe we can work together with our clients to make every service a positive experience.
All hair provide from us for Hair Extension is 100% human hair, no synthetic or animal hair.
Warranty Period
We provide a free touch up of the following situation happened within a certain period indicated below (counted at the time when you notify us). Out of the period there will be a charge for that.
- any attachment loosen or fall off within 1 week. (non-colored or non-premed hair)
- any extensions showing within 3 days.
Quality Issue
If there are hair quality problem (without any coloring or perming). For example extremely tangle happened within 2 weeks (the standard of extremely tangle will be spending over 30 mins to brush out the hair) we will remove sample strands (5-10 full strands) or all hair and sent back to the supplier for further testing. Should our terms and conditions have been met and we deem the hair faulty, then we will replace the hair and provide full application free of charge.
This warranty doesn’t apply to Reinstall hair or Hair that provide by client. Client has all responsibility of hair quality you source.
We will not be held responsible for hair that has been damaged due to the following reasons: In-corrrect Aftercare Products being used, Hair/bonds that have been coloured, this includes the use of ‘blonde’ shampoos, Hair that shows signs of heat damage ie sunbed use or the over use of heated appliances, Hair that has been worn while the client has been abroad, Hair that has been snapped/broken due to lack of client care.
Deposits & Appointment Scheduling
A non- refundable deposit is required to book all services (deposits will vary depending on what you are booking). This will go towards the final balance of service(s).
You can re-schedule 24 hour’s ahead of your original appointment (counted by the time when you notify us). Re-schedule within 24 hours of your original appointment will lost your deposit and you will need a new deposit for another appointment.
Any appointments cancelled by client will see the deposit forfeited.
If you cannot make your appointment we politely request that you notify us as soon as possible so that we may offer this appointment to another client. If you ‘no show’ then we will require pre payment for your next appointment request.
Additionally, once the service has been completed, there are no refunds on any aspect of the costs associated with the service.
Time Keeping
Please arrive to your appointment on time. No early or late. Should you be late please inform us as soon as possible. There is a late charge of $30 per 10 mins. If late more than 30 mins we may cancel the appointment due to not enough time and deposit will not refund.
Hair damage disclaimer
We don’t recommend client with extremely thin, damage, fragile hair to have hair extensions. Due to the nature of extension that is an external hair application. It applies certain weight to your hair and it may cause a small degree of hair breakage, hair loss during the application and daily life. It’s client’s decision to have the service and we don’t responsible for any hair lost or damage occur.
COLOURING or perming YOUR EXTENSIONS
We do not provide any chemical treatment. We suggest you color your hair first and matching the color of extensions during consultation.
Colouring or perming of your hair extensions is at your own risk. Though it is possible to color and perm the hair, the risk of damaging it increases dramatically because these chemical treatments may affect the original texture of the hair.
Reactions include but are not limited to extreme dryness, breakage, shedding, matting, and tangling. If an error occurs due to a chemical service, HONG KONG BRAID and its entities are not liable or held accountable for damage. NO refunds and/or exchanges, free removal and free maintenance will be issued due to chemical changes of hair extensions.
COLOURING YOUR NATURAL HAIR AFTER A COLOUR MATCH
If you have altered your natural hair colour after your colour match has been carried out and hair has been ordered, you will be liable for order new hair to match your new colour and will not be given a refund or exchange on the original batch.
Please remindful that if you have your color matched to the extensions. Your color may fade away later (usually after a few weeks ) and it may not match with the extensions. We don’t responsible any color unmatched due to this situations.
During the consultation we have agreed the method, length, color, quality and weight of hair, we don’t accept any changes after the hair have been ordered.
Extension method duration disclaimer
We recommend duration of each extension method but we can’t guarantee that. This duration time is base on majority of client experience. The suggested duration only reflect to the time that the extensions still be able to stay on your hair but the condition may vary for each client. The frequency of maintenance needed may vary due to each client’s hair texture, color, lifestyle and use of products.
Re-Useable hair and storage
The extensions quality is aim to use up to 3 months to 1 year, however due to each client’s aftercare, lifestyle and product used we can’t guarantee that. Client is responsible for ensuring the hair is kept in nice condition via the correct at home aftercare. An aftercare guideline will be provided.
We may refuse re-use of the hair if the extensions are in a bad condition as is a reflection on the brand. We don’t provide hair storage service.
Age Restrictions
We are not able to fit any form of hair extensions (unless its clip in hair) to anyone under the age of 16. For clients between the ages of 16-18 we are able to fit only with the prior permission of a parent or guardian. If you are making a booking and are between the ages of 16-18 please contact us to arrange for the appropriate paperwork to be filled in by your parent or guardian.
Pricing
All prices are subject to changes without notice, a full accurate quote will be given after a full in-depth consultation is carried out on your hair.
MAINTENANCE APPOINTMENTS
After you have had your hair fitting, it is essential that you stick to your maintenance appointments. This is a very important part of wearing your extensions – to help look after your new hair and protect your natural hair from damage.
REMOVALS
You are required to return to HONG KONG BRAID to have your extensions removed to ensure your natural hair stays in good condition; no responsibility will be accepted for any damages if extensions are removed by yourself, another salon or third party. We also require you to have your extensions taken out in the correct timescale given for the method you have fitted. No responsibility will be accepted for any damage caused beyond the recommended removal period.
SERVICES BY OTHERS
If you have your extensions cut/topped up/removed or refitted by anyone other than HONG KONG BRAID, no responsibility will be accepted for problems arising.
ADVERSE REACTION
Very rarely, despite a completely faultless application, should you experience an allergic reaction to the extensions, your head becomes very sensitive/painful or you feel you are simply not coping with your extensions, you should contact us immediately so we can check and advise what to do next. If this is removal, extensions will be removed free of charge if these happened within 1 week (counted at the time you notify us). but no refund of service charge. These types of reaction happen extremely quickly, not a few months after problem-free extension wear.
HOLIDAY HAIR
We can not be held responsible for any damage/deterioration of your extensions while you’re on holiday. We do advise you go on holiday with an old set of extensions to prevent your new hair drying out in hot climates. Very rarely, with blonde extensions, the hair can turn an orange colour. This is caused by some hotels having very hard water, which has a high oxide content and results in the blonde hair changing colour. Please understand the risks before deciding on your new set if you’re going on holiday.
Termination
HONG KONG BRAID Hair Extensions may at anytime terminate or suspend any part of our services or promotions without notice.
Copyright
We may take video or pic during or after the service for record. All videos, text or images taken of clients by HONG KONG BRAID may be used for promotions and advertising at any time, and is the copyright of HONG KONG BRAID. We will always ask your permission if we want to show your face or name.
